The Mr coffee cafe barista is very easy to set up and use.
Start by filling the water tank to the appropriate level; for this, we recommend starting with one litre of cold water. Next, place ground coffee into the filter basket and attach it to your machine, making sure all parts are clean. Finally, turn on your machine and wait for espresso to start dripping through the filter (latte brewing times will depend on your machine).
After you've poured in the espresso, it's time to steam the milk. For some people, this takes two separate steps of pouring water into the machine about halfway up on one side of the pitcher (on top), then pulling out that pitcher of water and filling it on top of the other side about halfway up (again).
Once finished, you can add hot milk in equal proportions to form a foam-rich latte. Enjoy!
You also can make a latte at home with an old-fashioned stove top espresso maker, or an air pot. I prefer the stovetop espresso maker for its simplicity and price, but there are other great alternatives. Like blenders which also produce a smooth cup of coffee laden with froth that is perfect for flavoring with your favorite vanilla extract or cocoa powder. Also because blenders are less expensive than fully-equipped "latte" makers. But the choice is up to you based on what's available in your house right now...
