This means that the machine is heated up and ready to use. Once the light turns on, open up the steam valve and wait for it to hiss loudly. Once it does, close it back up and wait for the light above it to turn off, which indicates that the machine is now ready to brew coffee. Open up the drip tray and fit a cup underneath it.
