Hi Shruti, Conservation International is a non-governmental organization that is headquartered in Washington, D.C., with additional offices in more than 30 countries and territories. The organization has been active since the 1970s and focuses primarily on preserving and protecting biodiversity, including: wild forests, threatened natural habitats and endangered species. CI works to protect the livelihoods and lives of millions of coffee farmers across the world. They help smallholder farmers adopt environmentally-friendly practices, such as organic certification and shade-grown coffee farming.
