While there’s not a huge backstory to it, Jameson say that whiskey and cold brew is a combination that their customers have been asking for over the years. They say that Jameson Cold Brew is designed to celebrate a passion for goof coffee and good whiskey by combining the richness of natural cold brew coffee and the smooth flavor of the triple distilled Jameson whiskey into the same bottle. It is labelled as a flavored whiskey rather than a liquor, which is why it’s just as easy to drink on its own as it is when combined with mixers or cocktails. It is a very dry whiskey without a lot of sweetness other than a hint of honey. Its main driver is the whiskey base than the coffee flavor and has notes of black coffee and charred wood.

Cold brew coffee is prepared by steeping coffee grounds in cold or room temperature water for an extended period of time. It is different to iced coffee, which refers to hot coffee that is brewed over ice to cool it down. This results in a flavorful and smooth beverage.

Experiment with how much soda you add if you like until you get the desired sweetness level.

Blend with a whisk, before adding your favorite toppings of whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles or marshmallows. Jameson Cold Brew Dalgona
To make this drink, combine two ounces of hot water with two scoops of instant coffee, and add one or two tablespoons of sugar to taste. Mix this until fluffy to make the topping. Then, take a glass and add one ounce of Jameson cold brew combined with three ounces of milk, and mix together to blend. Top with your topping and add a dusting of cinnamon. This is a really versatile recipe, and you can use any kind of milk that you like. Dairy-free milks like oat milk can work very well, but bear in mind that you might need to adjust the sugar as some plant-based milks like coconut milk or rice milk, for example, can be very sweet naturally.
Jameson Cold Brew with Foam
To make this drink, combine double the amount of regular cold brew to the amount of Jameson cold brew that you want, before adding some vanilla syrup and stirring it all together. Then, add ice. Use a French press to whip half and half with vanilla syrup to create a cold foam. Once that’s done, top your drip with the foam and it is ready to enjoy. If you don’t have a French press, an alternative way to make your cold foam is to shake it in a closer mason jar. You can also experiment with adding other flavors if you don’t want vanilla; caramel will work really well.
