We nurture our people and environment as lovingly as we nurture our beans.
Carbon Neutral
Since 2020 San Antonio has been working with Toroto to measure and reduce the carbon footprint of our farming methods. By implementing measures such as preserving the rainforest in a sizable part of our estate and allowing another area to lie fallow, we expect to be carbon neutral by 2022.

Rainforest Conservation
San Antonio is working hard to preserve the rainforest on the estate. A 20-hectare parcel of land is preserved in its pristine state of wilderness. Apart from preserving biodiversity, this also promotes a healthy water cycle, prevents soil erosion and is helping the farm become carbon neutral.
Life On The Farm
Starting at 6 am, our workers select and handpick beans which are their optimal level of ripeness. We owe them our success, and our educational and healthcare initiatives ensure they and their families are healthy, happy and have ample opportunities to grow. We nurture them while they nurture our beans.
Growth Has No Age Limit
We educate our farm workers in basic subjects such as Mathematics and Spanish in the afternoons after work. These free classes offer them a chance to gain essential knowledge and make up for the education they couldn't get as children. After all, it’s never too late to learn.
