Espresso

The espresso is the quintessential coffee preparation that can be consumed as is or used as the base for a variety of coffee drinks. An espresso needs to be brewed under high pressure, usually in specialized machines designed exclusively to brew espresso. Espresso is consumed in small demitasse cups and is generally served as a single shot or double shot.
