Who we are
The Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. is an organization that emerged in 1997 as a corporation formed by 68 producers who contribute their crops to start the coffee export business. In 2002 SOPPEXCCA was constituted as a Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Limited Liability Services, called UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L., made up of 5 grassroots cooperatives: Juan Fernández, Jesús Rivera, Ernesto Acuña, 19 de Julio and Feliciano Hernández, located in the municipalities of Jinotega and El Cuá. UCA SOPPEXCCA R.L. is currently an organization made up of 16 associated cooperatives, which bring together 405 producers, 269 men and 136 women, located in the municipalities of Jinotega, El Cuá and Bocay. UCA SOPPEXCCA RL has been in the market for 26 years exporting quality coffee to the United States and European markets.

The coffee is carefully harvested by the producers and their families who are members of the cooperative. Each group of producers has technical support and a trained promoter.
